Terms of use and sale
Last updated: 16 August 2026
These terms govern access to pro-scoutdb.com and the sales concluded on it. By creating an account you accept them in full.
1. What the platform is, and is not
Pro ScoutDB is a marketplace. It connects independent football scouts and recruiters with clubs, agents and families. It employs no scout, commissions no report of its own, and does not intervene in the content of any analysis.
The sale contract is concluded between the scout and the buyer. Pro ScoutDB acts as a technical intermediary and takes a commission on transactions.
The platform guarantees neither the accuracy of the information in a report, nor the fairness of the scores, nor the value of the projections. A recruitment, transfer or guidance decision taken on the strength of a report belongs solely to whoever takes it.
2. Accounts
Registration is free. It requires being at least 16 years old, providing accurate information and confirming your e-mail address.
Each account is personal. Sharing credentials, creating multiple accounts and impersonation lead to immediate suspension.
A scout must complete their Evaluation Portfolio before reaching their selling area. This portfolio is public: it lets a buyer compare analytical methods on reference players that are identical for everyone.
You may close your account at any time from your settings. Closing does not cancel concluded sales nor the access already granted to buyers.
3. Badges and verification
No badge is required. Each is granted on presentation of supporting evidence — club attestation, diploma, licence, professional card — checked manually by the team.
The “Pro ScoutDB Certified” badge attests only to having followed and passed the training given by the platform. It cannot be requested: it is awarded.
No badge guarantees the quality of an analysis. Badges tell you about a scout's identity and background, never about the worth of their work.
Evidence submitted fraudulently leads to the badge being withdrawn, the account suspended and, where applicable, a report to the authorities.
4. Prices, commission and payment
Scouts set the price of their reports and databases freely. Prices are displayed inclusive of tax, in euros.
Pro ScoutDB takes a 15% commission on every sale. There is no subscription, no listing fee and no introduction fee: a scout who sells nothing pays nothing.
Payments are processed by Stripe. No card data passes through Pro ScoutDB or is stored by it.
Private orders are paid upfront. The funds are held by the platform and released to the scout after delivery, once the review period stated at order time has passed. That period lets the client flag a problem before any release.
5. Right of withdrawal
A report is digital content supplied without a physical medium and performed immediately: access opens as soon as payment is made.
In accordance with EU consumer law, you expressly waive your right of withdrawal by requesting immediate performance. This waiver is asked of you explicitly at payment, and no purchase is possible without it.
As a result, no refund is granted once access has been opened. The free preview — player identity, match context, the scout's summary and the overall mark — exists precisely so you can decide before paying.
This exclusion does not affect the statutory guarantee of conformity: a report manifestly not matching its listing, or made inaccessible through the platform's fault, is refunded.
6. What is sold, and how it is protected
Buying a report opens a personal right of access, not a transfer of ownership. The buyer may read the document, download it and share it up to the number of seats on the access link.
Every copy carries a personal watermark: two readers receive two different files. Distributing a report beyond the seats provided, reselling or republishing it engages the responsibility of whoever does so.
The scout keeps the intellectual property in their work. They warrant that they hold the rights to what they publish: a report commissioned and paid for by a third party cannot be resold here without that party's agreement.
7. Data concerning players, including minors
A report concerns an identifiable person, often a minor. The scout publishing it undertakes to include only observations gathered at matches open to the public, to refrain from any data relating to health, origin or private life, and to answer for the lawfulness of what they publish.
A player, or the holder of parental authority if they are a minor, may at any time request the removal of a report concerning them by writing to contact@pro-scoutdb.com. The request is handled unconditionally and needs no justification.
Removing a report already sold entails revoking access and refunding the buyers.
8. Prohibited conduct
The following are prohibited: publishing a report you did not write, buying your own listings, creating several accounts to inflate figures, bypassing the platform to avoid commission after an introduction it made possible, and publishing discriminatory or defamatory statements.
Depending on the case, these lead to content removal, account suspension or permanent closure, without refund of any sums committed.
9. Liability
Pro ScoutDB is not liable for the content of reports, databases or messages exchanged between members. Nor is it liable for decisions taken upon reading them.
The platform takes reasonable steps to keep the service available, without guaranteeing absolute continuity. A technical interruption gives no right to compensation.
In all cases, Pro ScoutDB's liability is limited to the sums it actually received in respect of the transaction concerned.
10. Changes, governing law and disputes
These terms may change. Members are informed of substantial changes, which do not apply to sales already concluded.
French law applies to consumers resident in France, without prejudice to the protective provisions of the country of residence for other European consumers.
In the event of a dispute, a complaint may be sent to contact@pro-scoutdb.com. Failing an amicable solution, a consumer may use a consumer mediator free of charge: to be completed.
